STEELE KATZEFF

Steele graduated from the University of Cape Town as a Golden Key scholar with a Bachelor of Commerce, P.P.E and a postgraduate in Finance. He was awarded the Genesis Award for Economics and later studied specialized courses in renewable energy at Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. He has almost 7 years of project development experience focusing on utility-scale solar in Africa. Having worked for companies like Scatec and Red Rocket, Steele has developed hundreds of MWs of solar capacity in South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Eswatini and Lesotho. He believes in harnessing energy for positive change and applies this philosophy not only to his work but to everyday life.
